Erin Seefeldt, MD
Medical Director
Leadership has always been part of who Dr. Seefeldt is — first as a 24-year U.S. Army veteran and Ophthalmologist she honed her clinical and leadership skills. Now she serves as a Clinical Associate Professor training the next generation of eye surgeons at the University of Washington, works to restore and protect vision in her ophthalmology practice and provides medial oversight as the physician leading Catalyst MedSpa. As a board-certified ophthalmologist with over ten years of surgical experience, Dr. Seefeldt has spent her career caring for the eyes — and she's seen firsthand how much our eyes and facial expressions shape the way we connect with others. That's what drew her to aesthetics: it's not vanity, it's confidence, and confidence changes how patients show up in their lives. At Catalyst MedSpa, she combines that medical expertise with a genuine passion for helping patients look — and feel — like themselves again, while keeping long-term skin and eye health at the center of every treatment plan.
Stephanie Gaston, RN, CNOR, RNFA
Lead Nurse Injector
Stephanie Gaston is a Registered Nurse First Assist who has been in the aesthetic medical field for over a decade. She has a passion for helping clients achieve their best results. Her cheerful personality helps put patients at ease during their procedures. She is highly-skilled, detail-oriented, and enjoys being a friendly face for patients during their procedures. Stephanie’s experience in the operating room lends her a keen eye to both directing patients toward surgical and non-surgical solutions. She is passionate about her career and always striving to learn more by attending yearly conferences and staying current with industry standards and new techniques. She is a current member of AmSpa, AORN, and ISPAN. Stephanie lives on the Key Peninsula with her husband, AJ, and their daughter, Olivia. She is passionate about her family and home. She enjoys the outdoors, playing with animals, motorcycling, car racing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Kate Cashman, LME, CLSO, R-MA
& Lead Master Aesthetician
Kate Cashman is a licensed master medical aesthetician, laser safety officer, and registered medical assistant with over 20 years of experience in the medical spa industry. Kate has been certified in over a dozen aesthetic laser platforms and modalities and has extensive training and experience with the cosmeceutical lines of this industry. Kate moved to Tacoma over a decade ago and has cultivated a loyal patient following due to her patient-centered commitment to care and optimal outcomes, as well as her ability to explain technical procedures in a way that non-industry people can understand. Kate enjoys offering patients a variety of treatment options to alleviate their skincare concerns and to help them achieve their beauty goals, all while maintaining her keen sense of humor and commitment to patient care. Kate has deep PNW ties, went to the UW for undergraduate studies, and grew up in Redmond, WA. She currently lives in Lakewood with her eternally youthful Shiba Inu fur baby DeeDee. She enjoys gardening and being in nature, and loves to observe the patterns there that are mirrored in her aesthetic work.
Julaine Trapp, COT
Chief Operating Officer
Julaine Trapp brings over 18 years of healthcare experience to her role as Chief Operating Officer at Catalyst MedSpa. Her background spans ophthalmology, surgical care, plastic surgery, aesthetics, and healthcare operations, giving her a unique perspective on both exceptional patient care and the details behind an outstanding experience. Julaine has a genuine passion for helping people feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Her clinical experience has taught her the importance of listening closely, understanding each patient’s individual goals, and creating an environment where patients feel heard and never pressured. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and creative approach to problem-solving make her a natural leader and advocate for both patients and the Catalyst team. Outside of Catalyst, Julaine enjoys volunteering, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family and animals. She finds inspiration in nature, new experiences, and the people she meets along the way—and believes there is always room for a little laughter.
